While the Nokomis Beach Café doesn't necessarily qualify as a historic landmark, it is the place I've been going to for coffee for the last 20 or so years.

The LEGO model came about as Dennis the owner asked me to display the LEGO Nye's model in the shop ... I thought it would make sense to create a model of the coffee shop to go along side it.

The fun part of building the Nokomis Beach model was adding all the regular customers as LEGO Minifigures to the inside and out.
