The Monte Carlo was established in 1906. It is known for its chicken wings, its massive (and tall) mahogany bar, and its comfort food (including liver and onions - yuck!). The Monte Carlo is a classic cocktail bar
with Wisconsin supper club twist in the middle of Minneapolis.
The Monte Carlo is one of my favorite restaurants. I once brought my Great Aunt and Uncle there for dinner and got some great stories about the Monte Carlo and other places including old-school mobsters, hits, mobster summer vacations, and other assorted 1920s era shenanigans.
The cool bar and old-school atmosphere made it a great choice for another LEGO model. After Axios (the online news site) wrote an article Maury Glover got wind of things and did another TV news story. My second 15-minutes of fame ensued.
